Todays post is more Pixar colorscripts, this one form one of my favorite’s Monsters Inc. I adore this movie, they got everything right, and the pastel colorscripts are just so beautiful, they are done by Dominique Louis. I apologize for the way they upload, they are really big and if I uploading properly they will shrink in size. One of my goals for my blog is to share high quality art with viewers around the world. Enjoy!

Todays update are some beautiful and nostalgic Hanna-Barbera Studios stuff. These pages are from the book Cartoon Modern by Amid Amidi. A brief introduction to the iconic studio can be found in Amidi’s book. I grew up watching these on the cartoon network. They where great, they remain great. True works of masters.
On a side note. Amid Amidi has his own blog about animation. I highly suggest you check it out. Visit WWW.CARTOONBREW.COM
Todays update is the original colorscript from Pixar’s Toy Story 2. These beautiful illustrations are by Jim Pearson 1996 in Pastel. The idea was a direct to DVD movie but once the film was changed to theatrical Bill Cone took over further development. The images above are come complete.
Todays update is a massive color script for Pixar’s A Bug’s Life. The film was a huge success and one of my favorites for sure. Below is the entire color script for the film as seen in the book, The Art Of Pixar; The Complete Color script from 25 Years of feature Films. The credit goes to Bill Cone from 1996-1998 done in Pastel.
Today I share with you some more beautiful 1950’s style animation. Such a cool era, I love how style ran wild and we got so many beautiful cartoons and commercials. Enjoy!

Todays update is the start of a new book for the club! It’s a favorite of mine for many reasons. For starters I just love the 1950 art style of the smaller animation studios. It was a time in history where a lot really talented people got together and experimented. The booming economy fueled the growth of the modern cartoon look. The book Carton Modern by Amid Amidi is packed with beautiful images of the area. Pick it up if you want to learn more.

Today’s update is a personal one. I have been a lover of martial arts my entire life, about one year and a half ago I finally decided to invest in my passion and take lessons. Since, I have traveled the world and trained in many amazing gyms.
The pictures below are from a visit to Florida’s Start Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Academy. I was there not to long ago and went with my friend Mike, he trains at the gym and introduced me to everyone around. It was the most welcoming group of people and such a positive learning environment. I love Jiujitsu I love the community and I love being able to walk into a gym anywhere in the world and sharpen my iron.
I got a great workout both Saturday and Sunday, we hit the healthy food spot and the beach right after. Im super excited to return and learn some more.
Happy me, excited to sharpen my iron
